Chapter 1295: Go, Mom!
Chapter 1295: Go, Mom!
The little one looked up, her big, round eyes blinking with confusion.Today, Mom seemed really happy.
"Mom..." the little one tugged at Sophie Wilson’s hem, asking, "Where are you going, Mom?"
"Oh, Mom’s going to give someone a good scolding!" Sophie Wilson playfully pinched the little one’s chubby cheeks, revealing her intentions without any hesitation.
The butler listened from the side, nearly fainting on the spot.
Is Miss Wilson teaching her child like this?
The little one wasn’t scared at all but curiously asked, "Mom, why do you need to scold someone?"
"Didn’t Mom teach you that it’s wrong to scold people for no reason?" Sophie Wilson was incredibly patient when dealing with her own child.
"Yes." The little one responded obediently, her long eyelashes fluttering, her big eyes filled with curiosity.
"Let Mom teach you something else today. Some people, when they do something wrong and refuse to admit it, really deserve a scolding." Sophie Wilson asked with a smiling face, "Did you understand that, little one?"
The little one thought for a moment, nodding her little head, "Yes. If you make a mistake and admit it, you’re a good child and don’t need to be scolded. If you don’t admit it, then you need a scolding."
"Yes! Exactly! Our little one’s really smart! Here, let Mom give you a kiss." Sophie Wilson pulled the little one into her arms, kissed her several times, "Be good at home; Mom and Dad are going to give someone a scolding now!"
"Okay!" The little one excitedly waved her small arms, cheering for Sophie Wilson, "Mom, give a good scolding!"
The butler, standing to the side, covered his face, unable to say anything at Miss Wilson’s parenting style.
"Got it!" Sophie Wilson put the little one down, heading out the door with Charles Seymour, while the little one happily waved behind them, "Go Mom!"
The butler looked at the little one with a headache, wondering if there was really nothing wrong with the way Miss Wilson was teaching her child.
Then he saw Sophie Wilson turn back to give the little one a big smile, and the little one clapped and cheered. The butler felt like there wasn’t enough air around him; he was feeling light-headed.
——
When Charles Seymour and Sophie Wilson entered the Chapman Family home, they saw only Old Mr. Chapman and Henry Chapman sitting in the living room.
Neither of them spoke when they saw Charles Seymour and Sophie Wilson.
Charles Seymour held Sophie Wilson’s hand as they casually sat down on the sofa without being invited.
Old Mr. Chapman let out a cold snort without saying anything, but his deep disdain was fully expressed in that sound.
Before Henry Chapman had a chance to speak, Sophie Wilson sighed, "Some people really have no basic manners; don’t they know to offer a seat to guests? At such an old age, where have they been living until now?"
Charles Seymour smiled subtly; Sophie was here to give a scolding, and she was starting off strong, not holding back at all.
"Sophie Wilson, watch your language!" Henry Chapman slapped the table and stood up abruptly.
Sophie Wilson, still leisurely sitting on the sofa, looked at Henry Chapman and said with a grin, "Instead of telling me to watch my language, I think you should be more mindful of what you say, considering all those people in the mall were watching at the time."
Henry Chapman felt embarrassed under Sophie Wilson’s words, as if the gazes of the mall’s customers had once again landed on him, making him feel extremely uncomfortable: "You..."
"Henry, sit down," Old Mr. Chapman ordered sternly.
Of course, Henry Chapman didn’t dare disobey his grandfather, so he had to shut his mouth and reluctantly sat back down.
