Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate

Chapter 1262: Really in the Way

Chapter 1262: Really in the Way

"Sure, discuss this with Grandpa and Grandma," Sophie Wilson said, "But until then, let’s not bring Bao’er over. With the room renovation, it’ll be noisy and needs ventilation.""Even the most eco-friendly materials have some odor that needs airing out. Those substances are worst for kids and the elderly."

Charles Seymour nodded, "Alright, I’ll tell them."

"Then I’ll talk to Bao’er," Sophie said with a smile, "Let him stay at Grandpa and Grandma’s for a little longer."

After Sophie and Charles explained their thoughts to Old Mr. Seymour and the others, Old Mr. Seymour naturally thought it was a fantastic idea.

He really likes Bao’er but also can’t part with his own home. Visiting Charles’s place from time to time to stay is a good choice.

If Charles were to live there, Ethan might come to interfere.

Sophie and Charles’s arrangement is better.

"Bao’er, do you think that’s okay?" Sophie asked Bao’er with a smile.

The little guy blinked a couple of times and asked, "Will Mama come to see me?"

"Of course," Sophie said with a smile, "Mama will definitely come to see Bao’er."

"Mm-hmm!" Bao’er felt relieved upon hearing this and nodded repeatedly.

"Then let’s wait until Grandpa and Grandma’s room is refurbished, and Bao’er’s room is tidied up, and then bring Bao’er back," Sophie said with a smile.

"Okay," Bao’er replied softly and sweetly.

Sophie and Charles stayed for dinner, bathed Bao’er, and put him to sleep before leaving.

"Oh my gosh, Bao’er is so cute," Sophie sat in the car, happily swinging her arms, "He’s so small and soft, just adorable."

Watching the excited Sophie, Charles let out a sigh of relief, feeling thankful that last night, after seeing the waiting Sophie, he’d confessed everything.

That decision was really the right one.

After a moment of surprise, Sophie did nothing but give him a playful bite.

Even when she bit his arm, Sophie didn’t use much force.

So, what on earth was he hesitating about yesterday?

Thinking of this, Charles found yesterday’s self quite amusing.

"By the way, I just thought of something," Sophie pursed her lips and said helplessly, "How should I tell my parents about Bao’er?"

Charles’s expression changed; this was indeed a problem.

"I’ll handle it," Charles thought for a moment and said, "You don’t have to worry about it, I’ll explain."

Sophie looked at Charles in surprise, "You have a way?"

"Yes," Charles said decisively, reaching out to hold Sophie’s small hand, "As long as it’s not facing you, nothing is too difficult for me."

Upon hearing this, Sophie burst into laughter, giving him a sideways glance, "Honey, your sweet-talking skills are getting stronger lately."

"Because that person is you," Charles replied as he intertwined his fingers with Sophie’s, speaking with such sincerity that it seemed to exude pink bubbles.

"Oh my gosh... you’re so sweet, I have to give you a kiss!" Sophie leaned over and planted a big kiss on Charles’s cheek.

With his biggest worry resolved, Charles was in a great mood, eager to share a deep kiss with Sophie; however, the driver was in front... quite inconvenient.

The driver in front inexplicably felt a chill down his neck, glanced curiously at the air conditioning vent beside him, wondering why he hadn’t heard of a vent behind the seat.
