Accidentally Slept With The Ruthless Billionaire

Chapter 576: Can You Forgive Me?

Chapter 576: Can You Forgive Me?

Peter fought against the guards, but they were too strong. He couldn’t break free. After the incident, he was sentenced to fifteen days in detention for attacking Stacey inside the prison.

What Peter didn’t expect was for Stacey to completely lose her mind. A psychiatric evaluation confirmed it. Peter, though not insane, looked like a broken man. His behavior was like that of someone who had lost everything.

“What have I done?” he whispered.

He fell to his knees. His hands slapped his own face over and over as the sharp sounds filled the air. His skin turned red, but he didn’t stop.

What was the point? Nothing could change now. Regret meant nothing. His mistakes were burned into his mind. And he couldn’t escape them.

Both Stacey and Ashley had lied to him. Yet, he once treated them like they meant everything. He had even thrown his daughter, Bianca, out of the house; the only one who never lied to him.

Peter wished he could smash his head against a wall and end it all.

When Peter was released, the sun was harsh and blinding. It felt like the whole world had turned its back on him. He walked down the road, barely able to keep his balance.

A father and daughter passed him. The father gave his daughter an ice cream and said he didn’t mind the heat.

But the little girl kept fanning him. “Dad, you’re sweating. Take another bite.”

“You eat it. I’m fine,” the father said.

As they walked away, Peter’s eyes filled with tears. He remembered having the same kind of moment with Bianca long ago.

“Bianca… Bianca…” he whispered softly.

The road shimmered in the heat, the air heavy and hot.

Peter rubbed his eyes, thinking he was seeing things. In front of him, he saw a little Bianca holding two ice creams. She smiled at him and said, “Dad, it’s hot. Let’s each have one.”

Peter reached out to take her hand, but the little girl disappeared before he could touch her.

“I was wrong,” he whispered. His body gave out, and he fell to the ground, crying hard. It felt like his heart was being stabbed over and over.

The road was burning hot, but Peter didn’t care about the burns on his skin. The pain in his heart was worse.

“Bianca… where are you? I miss you…” He mumbled, like a father who had lost everything.

At that moment, Peter felt like he had finally understood what mattered in life. He knew he had to find his daughter and apologize.

He didn’t expect Bianca to forgive him. But seeing that father and daughter had made him realize how much he wanted to see his own child. For too long, he had ignored Bianca. He never visited her. He never checked on her. Now, regret was all he felt.

At the entrance of Emerald Artists Agency, Peter showed up without an appointment. The receptionist politely told him they couldn’t take any more visitors that day.

“Sir, you need to book at least three days in advance.”

The place was packed with people. Peter stood there, stunned for a moment. Then he said quietly, almost unsure of himself, “I’m Peter Scott… Bianca’s father.”

The receptionist looked surprised. She was new and had never heard anything about Bianca’s father. She contacted Bianca right away. The reply came back: Peter should wait.

More than an hour passed. As the workday was ending, Bianca finally walked out to meet him.

“What is it? Come inside and talk,” she said, noticing the pain written all over Peter’s face. She had seen him waiting from a distance after finishing with her client. She couldn’t understand why he had come. To her, their relationship had ended long ago.

Hearing Bianca’s voice, Peter jumped slightly. He looked up, his eyes filled with tears, his lips shaking as he followed her into the office.

“Bianca… Bianca…” he whispered.

Peter opened his mouth but couldn’t speak. Even saying his daughter’s name felt too heavy now.

Inside Bianca’s office, Peter suddenly dropped to his knees. That moment seemed to break whatever was holding him back. His voice finally came out, filled with regret. “Bianca… I was wrong.”

Bianca quickly closed the door. Thankfully, no one had seen. “What do you want? If you’ve got something to say, get up,” she said, her voice cold.

No daughter wanted to see her father kneel like that. If anyone saw, it could hurt Emerald Artists Agency’s image.

Was this just another trick from Stacey? Bianca had once tried to trust Peter. But years of betrayal from him and from Stacey had hardened her heart.

“Let me kneel. I deserve it.” Peter’s voice shook. He slapped himself hard, his face already red from hitting himself earlier.

Bianca stayed silent, forcing herself not to help him.

Peter slowly raised his head. His voice trembled like he was confessing to both her and God. “Stacey had a stillborn child. It wasn’t mine. You were right. She was with Haris all along. I even tried to make you marry him. I’ve been a fool. What have I done? I pushed you away. I trusted Stacey blindly. And now… I’ve lost everything.”

Bianca was stunned. Stacey had a stillborn child? Her mind went to the baby Stacey, whom she had once killed. Maybe this was karma.

She let out a sigh. Peter must have taken a paternity test. He had finally seen through Stacey. He really had lost everything.

“Is that all you came to say?” Bianca asked, her voice cold. “If so, you got what you deserved.”

“Yes… I deserve it. I have no one else to blame. I lost my business. My family left me. All because I believed that woman… Stacey. I brought this on myself.”

Peter shook as he spoke, slapping himself again and again.

“Stop it. If you don’t, I’ll call security,” Bianca said firmly. She couldn’t watch anymore.

A man should own his mistakes. If he couldn’t win, he should accept it. Bianca knew that. But her father didn’t seem to understand.

Peter finally stopped. His eyes were dull with shame. He didn’t dare look at Bianca as he spoke softly, “Bianca… can you forgive me… your useless father?”

Forgive him? Bianca hadn’t even thought about it. Peter’s actions had cut her deeply, like a knife leaving scars that never faded. Time had passed, but the pain was still there.

Even if something broken could be put back together, the cracks would always show. Some wounds never fully heal. But Bianca didn’t want to stay stuck in the past. She chose to move forward. Peter had hurt her, but he was still her father, the man who gave her life. She let go of the past, but forgiving him wasn’t something she could do.

“Why should I? Every choice leaves a mark,” she said.
