Getting away with the Alpha's Pup

Chapter 75

Chapter 75

Dylan

I was soon discharged from the hospital, and returned to the pack with Chelsea.

“Welcome back home, Dylan. I'm glad that you've finally recovered.” Right after closing the door of the bedroom, Chelsea touched the bandage on my forehead gently. "I was scared. I thought that I was going to lose you again…"

“How could Luna Cherry be so cruel to you?! I won't just let it go!” Then her jaw suddenly clenched in anger.

“She's already paying for her deeds.” I put my hand on her cheeks. “Don't worry honey. I will visit her in prison tomorrow.”

“Huh? Are you sure? What for?” Chelsea asked, obviously unprepared for my plan.

“Yes. I'll go and tell her that I'll do everything in my power to make sure she will rot in jail.” I nodded, gritted my teeth.

“That works for me. But what about her family?” Chelsea agreed with my plan and then asked.

"What do you mean?" I tilted my head, confused at what she was trying to imply.

“I think Cherry's father could be part of her plan in this accident.”

I then realized that I just couldn't recall who was Cherry's father or what kind of person he was. “I'll check this with Bert first. If he's found to have anything to do with the accident, I'll banish him from the pack.”

“Bert is Cherry's best friend. He even brought her to your hospital. I'm afraid that he'd cover up for Cherry and her father—”

“Chelsea, Bert is my Beta. He is a man of honor and principle. I trust that he will tell me the truth. If you excuse me, I need to go handle the pack affairs now,” I cut her off and then left.

With Bert aiding me with pack affairs over the past few months, I could tell that he was someone to count on.

***********

After spending a few hours in my office, I returned back to bedroom. My eyes widened when I heard Chelsea's sobs from the door.

“Has she been crying all this whole time since I left?” I whispered to myself before busting the door open.

Chelsea was lying flat on her chest, her face on top of the pillow.

“Chelsea, we need to talk. You know I didn't mean to not trust you,” I said, caressing her arm.

“It's okay, Alpha. Maybe I was too hasty just now. I just don't want you get any hurt again.” Chesea finally flipped over and sat up.

“Hun, will you stop calling me that? You know we have an endearment. It's hunny. Or you can just call me by my name when you're upset with me.”

“I'm not upset with you, Alph—Dylan.” Chelsea bit her lower lip, and then she sniffed. “I'm upset with myself. I think I might have crossed the line just now, when I'm not even an official member of Starsmoon yet.”

“I'm sorry if I made you feel that way.” I took her into my arms. “As the future Luna of Starsmoon, you're not crossing any line.”

“Wait...What do you mean by 'future Luna'?” Chelsea appeared lost at this conversation.

“I mean I'll make you the new Luna of Starsmoon. I can't wait for you to be my Luna… and build our own family.”

"Really? I-I just cannot believe it!" Obviously, Chelsea was thrilled about this news. She moved her face closer to mine, our nose almost touching.

“Speaking of building our own family, Dylan, I think we need to... your know,” She trailed her words.

"With you being away at hospital over the past few days, I've been missing you… so much,” She whispered flirtatiously.

Getting her message, I pinned her on the bed the next moment and hovered on top of her.

Chelsea giggled at my aggressiveness, initiating a kiss.

“I'm all yours tonight, Dylan. I wish to get pregnant and bear an heir for you,” Chelsea murmured when she was grinding her body against mine.

I claimed her lips. My body wanted to claim her. I was hard for her, but there was something wrong with my mind and my wolf. They were resisting her.

Kissing her neck, I was playing with her breasts under her clothes.

“No, Dylan. This is not right. I just don't feel right.” A voice sounded in my head.

Shaking my head, I decided to ignore that voice and pressing a passionate kiss on Chelsea's nipple, biting it hard that she cried out of pleasure.

"Stop right now, Dylan! She's not our mate!" The voice yelled even louder. Finally, my wolf won no matter how hard I tried to focus. I sat up from Chelsea's body.

“What? Anything wrong, Dylan? Why do you stop?” Chelsea asked, upset at what happened.

I looked at her but couldn't bring myself to devour her, even when she was tempting in my eyes.

“I'm sorry, Chelsea.” I was disappointed too.

“Do you feel all right, Dylan?” She asked..

I knew Chelsea was upset, yet my feet began to walk out of our room.

“Dylan, just where do you think you are going? You just can't leave me hanging like that!” Chelsea finally shouted out.
