I Rejected The Alpha For Being A Bully

Chapter 18

Chapter 18

"They will, or they can leave the pack for all I care. That girl is strong and intelligent, she fucked Debbie up less than an hour ago. Both gasps at me and I nod.

Don't believe me? Go to her room right now, the bruise along her neck is from my mate. I had to stop Rachel from killing her, it wasn't even a close fight. I found myself bragging like some soccer mum and they both turned and left, I'm guessing they went to check the validity of my claim. Let them I don't give a fuck, when they see what Rachel is capable of maybe they will learn to show some goddamn respect...

All of the wolves that have known us since we were kids have been a problem. They still look at me as that fun-loving and trouble-making kid they knew for ten years, not the soon-to-be leader of the pack. I decided that I need to do something, to come up with a way to exact my dominance over them. I thought of this while I worked myself out, I kept my watch at the time trying to think. If it's good timing to show up at Rachel's place to beg, he lets me stay the night in her room, sleeping on the floor no longer matters to me. She was right yesterday when she said she was shocked by my behavior, u never thought a day would come when a mate would make me lose control. "Of course, I never thought It would be Rachel, the only girl I have had a crush on for long from afar at least".

My mind took me to the memories of how I had treated her in the past and it made me sad at how cruel I was to her, and how much she was right about my sudden behavior change." Unnecessary stupid and immature. But right now I need to grow up and take the pack affair seriously. My dad is going to eventually hand over his position and I need to show him that I'm ready for that.

When I got home I went straight to my room and showered, washed clean from the sweat during my workout and I headed over to Rachels's place. When I got there it was around dinner time. I was hoping they would feed me even though I am aware that they don't like me. I knocked on the door and her dad came to answer me. He gave me a firm look and I know very well that he hates me, but I don't blame him because I was the cause of the hatred.

"Good evening Mr. Wilson". I said with fear in me, not knowing what to expect the next moment. He held his fist out and punched me in the jaw, I staggered back shocked by the impact as pain laced itself through my face, I whined but stood up straight to face him. He moves to the side and motions with his hand for me to come into the house.

"Rachel is in the kitchen". He says and I nod.

"Thank you, sir". I responded, hopefully, he won't hold a grudge as strong as Rachel.

"That punch fucking hurt". I thought to myself.

As I moved closer to the kitchen, I could hear Rachel's sweet voice as she chatted with her mom, but as soon as she set her eyes on me, she narrowed her eyes at me.

"I said tonight and, bedtime Gabriel ''. I couldn't stop the shiver that ran through me. When she calls my name out, it sounds incredibly nice and I couldn't help but want to hear her say it continuously. I shrug and give her a sheepish smile l.

"It's a chili night out, this is the pack house. I came hoping you would have mercy on me and let me stay the night here" I said shamelessly and her mom giggled.

" Regardless of how we feel about you, no poor soul should be subjected to chili night at the pack house". Get a plate from the cabinet. She says pointing out the right one to me.

"Mom". Rachel exclaimed in indignation.

"Sweetheart, I am doing this for your sake. He is sleeping in your room, I doubt if you want to breathe in the toxic smell that chili creates all night" she says with a wide smile on her face and Rachel holds her nose making me chuckle.

"Ew," she mutters. "I suppose not"
