I Rejected The Alpha For Being A Bully

Chapter 15

Sweetheart, this movie is such a terrible one. He groans for the tenth time in twenty minutes.

Feel free to go back home and watch the movie of your choice, but right now you get to watch what I choose. If you can't take it any longer, get out of here. I said to him not moving my eyes from the screen, he groaned again and stood up making me wonder if he is going to leave.

Instead, he headed upstairs to my room to grab a comforter off my bed and lay on my couch. Cocooning himself into the heavy blanket while he Lays his head on my lap.

What the hell do you think you are doing? I asked, annoyed.

"If you think you are going to make me suffer through this, the least you can do is get me comfortable". He says wrapping his arms around my legs and clinging to me, he takes a deep breath and I see his body relax, I huff and cross my arms, but I didn't push him away from me. He turned to look at me and he smiled at me.

"Feed me some popcorn sweetheart". He says with a wide grin on his face as he opens his mouth.

I pushed him far away from me and he fell flat on the floor, he grumbled as he pushed himself back up onto the couch.

"You are too aggressive, you know I was just trying to tease you". He says as he wraps his arms around my lap again. He breathed out another relieved sigh again, snuggling his face into the soft fabrics of my pants, before long I could hear the sound of his snoring sound asleep.

I can't help but smile at the way he was snuggled up and wrapping himself purposefully into my scent. If he hadn't been such an asshole, he would have been a good mate, even if he had just ignored me, it probably wouldn't have taken this long for me to accept him, but he went out of f his way to be hurtful to me, I don't think a mate bond should erase that so easy. My thought brings down my mood and I shut the tv off before carefully removing myself from Gabriel so I could stand up. He whines a little in his sleep and rolls over, curling up into the couch.

I decided to escape the suffocating scent of my obnoxious mate and decided to take a walk around the pack. This is one of the few days I have the afternoon to myself and I usually like to be lazy around the house, but now I have been robbed of that option, I decided to stroll down to the bookstore my friend Helen was walking at, I round the corner and I was run into by the foul smell of ashe-wolf.

Debbie

When she realizes it, she snarls loudly and pushes me so hard that I fall to the ground, I stand up and my face pinches in disgust.

"Good God, what is that smell?" I asked myself more than anything.

"If fucking chili day," Debbie said and I couldn't stop myself from laughing.

"This is all your fault, you stupid bitch". She hurls at me, but I just shrug. I don't see how it is my fault that you acted like an idiot and got yourself into trouble, if you had just listened to Gabriel, this wouldn't have happened to you" I say with air nonchalantly in my voice.

Her suffering doesn't matter to me in any way.

" I just can't bring myself to believe that you are his mate, what kind of sick and twisted fate is that?" She huffs at our humorless laugh and rolls her eyes.

"Obviously I am better than you or you would have been mated to him, "I say and start to move away, but she grabs my shoulder and turns me back to face her.

"Why don't you just reject him? He hates you, he always treats you like a piece of shit" she practically begs me and I laugh loudly at her face, making her furrow her brow in confusion.

I did reject him, Debbie. Two minutes later I realized he was my mate. He just won't accept the rejection and he is trying to get me to forgive him. This means after his mate rejected him, he still doesn't want you. I say slowly and as the realization dawns on her face, I see red fiery anger fill her eyes, just as she lifts her fist to punch me.

Rachel

I grab her fist as she tries to bring it closer to my face and bend her arm back at an awkward angle, making her let out an uncomfortable scream. She tries to twist out of my hold, but I sweep out her feet from underneath her and wrap my arms around her neck as she falls. I pulled it tight, cutting off her airway as her claw extended, cutting through my arm. Luckily the adrenaline keeps me from feeling the pain, just has her falling slowly and I sense that she is about to lose consciousness. I feel strong arms wrap around my waist at that moment.

"Let her go, sweetheart". Gabriel murmurs into my ear, I instantly release my hold and Debbie falls to the ground sputtering, coughing, and gasping for air. She looks up at me horrified with bloodshot eyes as her hand clings to her throat where bruises are forming.

"How the fuck did you do that?" She asked and her voice raspy, I snarled at her and Gabriel held me tight. I Pat his hand to let him know that I was okay so he released me reluctantly. I leaned down to go face-to-face with her and pulled my lips back in a sneer.

"Just because I'm smart, doesn't mean that I can't be a badass, you are lucky Gabriel got here to stop me on time, fuck with me again and you won't be lucky. I whispered dangerously and her eyes widened as she backed away from me In fear. I laughed at her and turned on my heel to Walk away. Gabriel follows and after a moment he grips my arm and lifts it to inspect it, he begins to lick the claw wounds she left and I let him.

" They sting like a bitch".

"What the hell did she say to you to set you off like that?" He asked quietly and I huff out a laugh.

"Nothing, she only tried to punch me, and I showed her who the boss is". I say proudly and he looks at me surprised.

"She attacked you?" He growls and I shrug.

I handled it. I say and he sighs, running his hands through his hair. He grips my hand and threads our fingers together. I let him because I was on the edge and didn't have that calming vibe. I turned to look behind me, and Debbie is still watching us walk away. her gaze firmly set on our linked fingers, her eyes meet mine when she sees me watching and I smirk at her. Her expression turned dark instantly and she huffs before jumping up and shifting, running the opposite way into the forest.
