I Rejected The Alpha For Being A Bully

Chapter 13

I have something to take care of. Can I come over to your place after I am done? He asked me hopefully.

"No, I responded". And his face dropped low.

"Why not?" He asked and I sigh.

Because I won't be there. I will be training with your dad today. So I will be at the pack house. I explained and his face lit up again.

Even better, I will meet you there when I am done. He says as he walks away before I could say anything else. Alpha had been asking Gabriel to join the intelligence training session for months now but he never listened to his father. Maybe the mate bond will have a positive effect on him from now on.

I walk back slowly to my house, basking in the silence I got to enjoy. It was my first time alone in a while. I took extra time in the shower this time around. The Alpha was never particular about what time I show up, so I took extra time in making myself look cute, I put on jean trousers and a floral blouse, and strappy sandals, I add a little makeup to my face d I curled my hair, something I rarely do, before taking a stroll around the pack on my way to the pack house. I finally made my way to the pack house and the alpha office and I knocked on the door gently. He called for me to enter, as he popped his head up from the stack of documents right in front of him. He gave me a warm smile as he signaled for me to come closer, standing from his chair and rounding the desk.

"I was afraid that after our talk yesterday that you wouldn't show up today". He says pulling me into a gentle hug.

"I'm not the type to run away from my responsibilities" I answered and he let me go and I sat in the chair I usually sit in to discuss the pack dynamics, strengths, weaknesses, defense strategy, and all the things a future alpha was supposed to be interested in.

"That is why I'm grateful that you are married to Gabriel. Even though you might not be". He says sitting next to me, I sigh heavily and I rest my elbow on the table holding my chin in my hands.

"He told everyone at the training ground this morning". I say with a hint of irritation in my tone. Alpha nods, I should have known you would have heard about it.

"I know but you have to admit, he did that as a way of defending you". He pointed out and I shrugged.

"Yeah, defending me from the rumors he started himself". I say and the alpha sighs, running his hands through his hair much like his son does. Gabriel would be very much happy to be the type of Alpha's father.

"Sweetheart, I know he wasn't fair to you, but he really is not that bad of a person, just give him a chance". He implores and I shrug.

Even if I plan on giving him a chance, that doesn't mean I wouldn't make him suffer first. I say with a cruel smile that makes that alpha chuckle, the next moment the door to his office is flung open, and Gabriel walks in, triumphantly holding a piece of paper in his hand.

He walks over to the both of us and he bows to greet me, holding the paper out for me to take a look.

"What's this?" I asked with a furrowed brow as I opened the paper.

"A full physical check-up result from the pack doctor. I'm a clean sweetheart, he says with a proud smile before he grabs my face in his hand and plants a peck on my cheek, jaw, and forehead. I shrug and push him away as his dad looks and chuckles.

"What are you doing?" I yelled at him and he smiled back at me.

You said I could touch you again once I prove that I don't have any kind of disease, and I like your hair like that, he says running his hands through it, I pushed him and growled at him.

That doesn't permit you to touch me whenever and however you want. Congratulations on you not contracting a disease that would make your commercial dick fall off. I said and he furrowed his brow at me.

"Commercial dick?" He asked and I scoffed at him as I looked at his father for help.

When something is commercial that means everyone can use it freely. He says with mirth in his eyes and Gabriel scoffs.

"No sweetheart, you are the only one that can use it". He says smugly, puffing out his chest. I growled and rolled my eyes at him.

"Then it will fall because of something else. Not been used". I say and the alpha lets out loud laughter as Gabriel crosses his arms.

"We will see". He said it was challenging and I narrowed my eyes on him.

" Where were you last night anyway?"

Your mother checked your room late last night and you weren't there. Alpha asked and Gabriel took a seat next to me and scooch way closer than necessary.

"I stayed the night at Rachel's place". He says suggestively, wagging his eyebrow at me. I gasp in indignation before hitting his chest.

"He slept on my floor, alpha because he couldn't bear to stay away from me the whole night, he asked me to pet his little head like a puppy and everything". I said and the alpha laughed at the both of us.

"Well, I am happy to see the both of you getting along well". Alpha says with a wide smile on his face between the both of us.

I fake a gag at his word.
