However, Clayface isn't always a villain. For example, during the New 52 era, Clayface became a superhero. After his rebirth, Clayface became a villain again, but Batman believed he was still redeemable and recruited him.

At this point, Barbara still thought that Rune was a clay face that Batman had brought along as a tool to suppress her emotions.

As she spoke, Barbara glanced at Batman beside her, hoping that the man would intervene to stop the sorcerer. But Rune knew this too, and he turned to Bruce, grinning maliciously.

"It's really touching. This poor little girl, after being coerced, still places her hopes on her other father. Guess, Batman, does she believe Commissioner Gordon, or you?"

Batman's downturned lips indicate that his mood has worsened.

Rune's words reminded him of the Joker, who also enjoyed testing human nature in this way. Moreover, if he said those words, he would usually bring out Sheriff Gordon, who was tied up like a pretzel, and play games with him.

She didn't become Batgirl at Batman's behest; it was her own decision. Furthermore, she didn't always follow Batman's orders during her night patrols.

Rebellion has always been in her blood, and the actions of Batman and now Rune have further fueled her rebellious spirit.

"You think pursing your lips will help?" Rune chuckled.

The next moment, Barbara was horrified to discover that a mouth had inexplicably appeared on her chest.

"Don't worry, I've done this level of shapeshifting countless times. I guarantee there won't be any scars afterwards." Rune reassured Batman behind him, then poured the potion into the newly grown mouth on Barbara's chest.
