You can feel his warm breath carrying the fresh scent unique to young people.

"Deidara, let go of me!" You struggled, but he held you even tighter. Deidara's arms were like iron hoops around your waist, and he was practically hanging on you. His golden hair brushed against your cheeks, tickling you.

"No!" Deidara's voice trembled, but he stubbornly refused to let go. He took the opportunity to bury his face in your shoulder and took a deep breath. The faint scent of mint mixed with a hint of sweetness made his heart beat even faster.

You sighed, "Grab my hand, and I'll pull you out!" You helplessly stretched out your left hand.

Deidara immediately grabbed your hand as if it were a lifeline, and your fingers intertwined tightly.

His palms were slightly sweaty, yet unusually warm. "You wicked woman! You mustn't tell anyone!" he warned, his face flushed, but his voice softened.

"I'm not as boring as Hidan." You pull him forward, feeling the person following closely behind, like a large pendant.

Deidara secretly looked down and saw your fair neck, as delicate as porcelain in the dim light, and his Adam's apple bobbed involuntarily.

"You wicked woman! Speak to me! I'm a little scared!" Deidara made up an excuse, just wanting to hear your voice.

"You're such a nuisance!" You suddenly turn around and push him into the corner.

Deidara's back pressed against the cold wall, while you rested one hand on his ear, the two of you so close you could count each other's eyelashes.

"What...what are you going to do!" Deidara's voice suddenly rose, a hint of expectation flashing in his blue eyes, his gaze unconsciously falling on your lips.

You didn't answer, but simply smiled and gestured for him to look to the side.

The instant Deidara turned his head, a pale-faced Rakshasa woman suddenly sprang out from the shadows, almost touching his face!

"Ah—!!" Deidara's scream almost lifted the roof off. He instinctively lunged at you, burying his head in your neck and wrapping his arms tightly around your waist.

You were forced to take a few steps back to steady yourself, feeling the person in your arms trembling violently.

"Alright, it's just a prop." You patted his back helplessly, but didn't push him away immediately.

After a long while, Deidara finally raised his head, his face still flushed. "You wicked woman, you did this on purpose!" he accused, but still held onto your hand tightly.

"Finally, it's quiet." You chuckled, looking at the frozen Rakshasa prop. "It wasn't so scary after all, was it?"

Deidara then examined the prop closely and discovered that it was indeed just a finely crafted mannequin.

He pursed his lips, but was still shaken.

"Alright, let's keep going. I want to be the first one out of the haunted house!" you said, about to let go of her hand.

"You wicked woman! Don't let go!" Deidara quickly caught up and gripped your hand tightly again, as if that made him feel safer.

"You're a grown man, how can you be afraid of these things? Aren't you ashamed?" You said with disdain, but you didn't shake him off.

You can feel the warmth of Deidara's palms, and a slight tremor, whether from fear or something else, you don't know.

As you walked hand in hand through the haunted house, Deidara gradually became less afraid and began to enjoy the close contact.

He secretly rubs the back of your hand with his thumb, feeling the delicate skin.

"What are you doing?" You keenly notice his subtle movements.

"N-nothing!" Deidara hurriedly denied, his ears burning red. He pretended to be attracted by a sound nearby, "There seems to be something over there!"

You follow his gaze, and suddenly a dark shadow sweeps past overhead—

"Whoa!" Deidara exclaimed again, this time grabbing you around the waist and burying his face in your collarbone. You were knocked back a few steps by him, your back hitting the wall.

"Deidara, that's just a piece of black cloth."

Deidara looked up and realized that it was indeed just a piece of black cloth being blown by the wind. His face was only inches away from yours, and you could clearly see the helplessness in your Sharingan and a hint of barely perceptible indulgence.

His gaze involuntarily drifted downwards, landing on your lips...

"Have you seen enough?" You raised an eyebrow, but didn't look away. The air between you seemed to freeze, leaving only the sound of each other's breathing.

At that ambiguous moment, a cold voice came from the darkness, "What are you doing?"

Itachi emerged from the shadows, his blood-red Sharingan standing out starkly in the darkness. His gaze fell upon your tightly pressed bodies, his eyes slightly cold.

Deidara immediately released you as if he had been electrocuted, but still held your hand tightly. "What, what's it to you!" he retorted, but subconsciously hid behind you.

Feeling embarrassed, you gently withdrew your hand. "Itachi, what are you doing here?"

"I'm lost," Itachi replied briefly, his gaze remaining fixed on your face. He stepped forward and naturally stood beside you, separating you from Deidara. "Let's go together."

Deidara shoved to your other side, grabbing your hand again. "The wicked woman is my guide!" he said defiantly, looking at Itachi.

Caught between the two, you felt the pressure coming from both sides and couldn't help but facepalm. Just then, Hidan suddenly appeared out of nowhere and grabbed Deidara's neck.

"So you weren't scared to death, huh!" Hidan grabbed Deidara's neck and looked at his flushed face.

"Let me go!" Deidara struggled, his blond hair still covered in spider webs he'd picked up in the haunted house.

He looked anxiously at you as Itachi dragged you away, his voice filled with resentment, "You wicked girl! Wait for me! Okay!"

Itachi's fingers gripped your wrist like iron clamps, his black stand-up collar concealing his taut jawline, and the three tomoe in his Sharingan slowly rotated, reflecting your slightly resistant figure.

"You're hurting me, fighting seven people at once..."

Your soft protest made Itachi loosen his grip slightly, but he didn't let go. His thumb subtly caressed the delicate skin on your wrist, where Deidara's body heat still lingered.

"Jajō-sama! Don't abandon me!" Hidan's exaggerated wail came from behind. He was trying to pounce on you, but was stopped in time by Kimimaro's bone sword.

The restaurant's glass doors reflected a blinding light. As people gradually took their seats, you found yourself seated between Itachi and Shisui.

Deidara stomped his feet in anger on the other side, while Sasori's puppet tail silently wrapped around your chair leg.

“I want to sit over there! Hmm!” Deidara pointed to the empty seat next to you.

"First come, first served." Shisui smiled and pushed the water in front of you, his fingertips "accidentally" knocking over the salt shaker, spilling it right onto Deidara's reserved seat.

Hidan's loud voice broke the brief silence, "That blood-spitting zombie was so cool! Did you guys see Kakuzu's expression?"

He gestured wildly, "Like this—ow!"

Kakuzu's ledger hit Hidan squarely on the back of the head. "Shut up, idiot." He looked at Hidan's Akatsuki robes, soiled by the haunted house props, with a pained expression. "The dry cleaning fee is going to add up again..."

Tsunade slumped in her seat, her golden ponytail hanging limply. When the waiter brought over the Bloody Mary, she abruptly turned her face away, shouting, "Take it away!"

"What a fragile princess~" Orochimaru licked his lips and deliberately poked the half-cooked egg yolk on his steak with his fork. The sticky liquid made Tsunade's face turn blue. She kicked Orochimaru's shin, but he easily dodged it.

"There's also a Ferris wheel at night." Orochimaru's golden vertical pupils swept over the crowd, hinting at something. "It's said... you can see the most beautiful night view there."

Chapter 152 Amusement Park (9)

Yahiko's orange hair gleamed warmly under the light. He leaned closer, seemingly unintentionally, his arm resting on the back of the chair behind you, forming a semi-encircling posture.

"Did Deidara cause any trouble?" His voice was soft, but his breath brushed against your ear.

"He's such a childish idiot." Your fingertips unconsciously trace the rim of the glass, and the water droplets that had condensed on the glass slid down, much like the subtle atmosphere at this moment.

The wooden floor emitted a rhythmic mechanical sound as Hiruko's three puppet tails gracefully folded behind her.

Sasori's precise stance perfectly severed the airflow between Yahiko and you.

You yawned, and the movement of rubbing your eyes caused your loose sleeve to slip down, revealing a faint red mark on your wrist—the fingerprints Itachi had left in the haunted house.

"It feels pretty good. How about you guys?"

"With Lord Tanuki's words, I'm quite content." Shisui appeared across the table like a gentle breeze. He bent down to pour you tea, a gentle smile on his lips, but dark emotions surging in his eyes, as if silently saying: Choose me.

You suddenly realize how dangerous the four-person encirclement is. Yahiko's body heat emanates from your right, Sasori's chakra threads are faintly visible on your left, Shisui's gaze is fixed on you, and behind you...

"You guys aren't planning on going to the Ferris wheel tonight, are you?"

The air froze instantly, and four gazes pressed down on you as if they were tangible; the answer was self-evident.

"I want to be with that wicked woman! Hmm!" Deidara had somehow broken free from Hidan.

The young artist lunged at you from behind, wrapping his arms around your shoulders in a domineering manner, a move that enraged the other men present.

"You're such a busybody, go eat!" You nudged him with your elbow, but he seized the opportunity to grab your wrist. Deidara's blue eyes shone brightly in the sunlight, with the same stubbornness as that drunken night.

"I don't care!" He rested his chin on your head, completely ignoring Sasori's already drawn venomous stinger and Yahiko's bulging veins. "You have to ride the Ferris wheel with me! Okay!"

You sighed, "I think I'll just stay single."

"No!" Further away, Nagato silently put down his teacup, a dark glint flashing in his Rinnegan.

The scorpion's puppet tail suddenly pierced the floor, the metal scraping against the wood with a piercing sound. "Draw lots."

“Just what I wanted.” Yahiko sneered.

Your fingertips trembled slightly as you held the pen, the ink spreading a little on the paper. Hidan's sudden movement was so big that it shook the table, almost knocking over the expensive sake that Kakuzu had just ordered.

"Count me in the draw!" Hidan, his silver hair still damp with the haunted house props, excitedly slammed his fist on the table. "May the Jashin (the evil god) bless me so I'll be chosen!"

You secretly breathed a sigh of relief; at least Hidan was easier to deal with than some others. Just as you were about to crumple the note into a ball, a pale, slender hand suddenly tapped the table. The index finger with distinct knuckles tapped three times, each sound like a tap on your heart.

Add me.

His voice was soft, yet it was as forceful as a kunai driven into a wooden board, leaving no room for refusal. You looked up and met those unfathomable Sharingan eyes. Itachi's slightly bowed posture caused his black hair to fall, forming an ambiguous shadow.

(Why Itachi of all...?)

You sighed inwardly, the pen hovering over the paper, hesitant to fall.

Compared to others, Itachi always gives you a sense of oppression, as if he sees through you. Just like now, his calm gaze seems to penetrate all your pretenses.

"Itachi, what are you doing getting involved now!" Deidara grabbed your wrist. "Ignore him, you wicked girl! Hmm!"

Sasori's puppet tail silently wrapped around Deidara's arm. "Let go."

"Why!"

"Because you're too noisy." Shisui smiled and entered the fray, his fingers seemingly casually resting on Deidara's shoulder, but actually using chakra to seal his pressure points.

You take a deep breath and quickly write "Uchiha Itachi" on the last piece of paper, crumpling the paper into balls and laying them out on the table.

"Okay." You closed your eyes and grabbed one at random. The rustling sound of the crumpled paper unfolding was mixed with Deidara's nervous swallowing.

Deidara jumped up, the chair scraping against the floor with a screeching sound. "How is this possible! Hmm!" He reached out to check the other crumpled papers, but Yahiko smiled and pressed his wrist down.

"That's luck." Itachi's voice was as calm as if he were discussing the weather. He picked up the note that had determined his fate, his fingertips brushing against your knuckles, leaving a slight electric shock.

You subtly pulled your hand back into your sleeve, forcing yourself to remain calm, and said, "Now that the results are in..." Before you could finish speaking, Hidan's shout interrupted you.

"Cheating! Absolutely cheating!" The silver-haired youth brandished his blood-red scythe. "I want to start over!"

You tried to remain calm as you folded the note, but your fingertip was accidentally scratched by the edge of the paper, leaving a bloody mark. Before you could react, Itachi had already grasped your finger and gently brushed it past the tiny wound.

"Be careful."

In your haste to pull your hand back, you don't notice Itachi tucking the bloodstained note into his sleeve.

"Alright, a bet's a bet." Nagato suddenly spoke, his eyes beneath his red hair as dark as the sea. As he stood up, he "accidentally" knocked over Itachi's teacup, and the hot water spread across the table in strange shapes.

"I'm full." As you put down your chopsticks, they both stopped moving at the same time, and you got up as if you were fleeing from this awful place.

The dim, yellowish light in the corridor cast Deidara's long, lonely shadow.

His golden hair lost its usual luster in the dim light, just like his current mood, which was gloomy and unclear.

The boy kicked open his bedroom door, the door slamming against the wall with a dull thud that was particularly jarring in the quiet corridor.

"Damn it..." Deidara gritted his teeth and walked into the room, went straight to the bed, and threw himself into the quilt.

He lay sprawled out, his eyes fixed on the cracks in the ceiling, as if the winding lines could give him some kind of inspiration.

The room was so quiet you could almost hear the dust settling on the floor; only his heavy breathing echoed in the air.

"No, I can't give up like this! Hmm!"

He suddenly sat up, his golden ponytail whipping through the air in an arc.

The mirror by the bed reflected his reddened eyes and his lower lip with teeth marks. If Hidan saw this expression, he would probably be ridiculed for a whole month.

But Deidara didn't care about that at the moment. He wiped his face haphazardly, leaving several white streaks of clay on his cheeks.

Deidara rushed out of the room in a flurry of activity, not even having time to put on his coat. His footsteps echoed in the empty corridor, like the pounding of a restless heart.

Arriving at Itachi's room, he raised his hand and banged hard on the door, the sound of his knuckles hitting the wooden door particularly jarring in the quiet night.

"Who is it?" Itachi's deep and calm voice came from inside the room, like a bottomless lake.

"It's me, Deidara." He replied curtly, his voice barely containing the emotions that were about to erupt.

The airflow from the opening door lifted Itachi's robes, revealing a pale neck beneath the black stand-up collar. His Sharingan gleamed faintly in the shadows. The height difference between the two forced Deidara to tilt his head back slightly, a realization that only fueled his frustration.

Deidara didn't stand on ceremony and strode into the room. Itachi's residence was as neat and tidy as ever, with an ancient book spread out on the table and a cup of steaming tea next to it.

This orderly arrangement only fueled Deidara's frustration. Why did this perpetually calm and composed guy get the chance to be alone with the wicked woman?
